DOLE and McDonald's Offer 3,900 Summer Jobs For Students

More good news for our students and out-of-school youths who want to earn extra this coming summer vacation as McDonald's partnered with Department Of Labor and Employment to provide 3,900 summer jobs for this year 2012.


Through DOLE's Special Program of Employment for Students, 3,900 students from all over the country will have a chance to work for McDonald's branches nationwide. DOLE Secretary Rosalinda Dimapili-Baldoz said.

All students that will be hired will work for four to eight hours a day, six days a week. Employment will run from April 10 to June 20, 2012 for hires that will be deployed in Metro Manila McDonald's Branches.

DOLE and McDonald's will sign a memorandum of agreement on March 28 to close the deal.

Qualifications are almost the same as the other summer jobs offered by DOLE. Open to all students and out-of-school youths ages from 17 - 20 with average passing grades and whose parents' annual income does not exceed Php120,000.

Other requirements that need to be completed are...

- Accomplished SPES application form
- Certificate from the school registrar, Form 138, or original class cards
- Birth Certificate
- Copy of latest income tax return of parents or any BIR certification if parents are exempted
- For Out-of-school youths, you need to provide a certificate of good moral character issued by your barangay
