Samsung to Release Galaxy Note 8.0?

Is it because Apple released iPad Mini or Samsung just wants to add another size in their Galaxy line? A tech website SamMobile reports that they received confirmation about Samsung's plan to unveil the fourth generation Galaxy Note 8.0 an 8-incher phablet that is said to compete Apple's iPad Mini.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2
The tech site added that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 8.0 at the upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2013 to be held in Barcelona Spain next month. G-Note 8.0 will reportedly  come in two options the first one would be a GT-N5100 3G/Wifi and then the GT-N5110 Wi-fi only, sounds familiar.

Both variants are rumored to offer 8-inch 1280x800 TFT (Super Clear LCD) display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB internal storage with MicroSD card support for memory expansion. Camera will be a 5 Megapixel the one in the back and a 1.3MP on the front face. The battery is a massive 4600mAh compared to 2500 mAh and 3100mAh of Galaxy Note and Note 2 respectively.

As what SamMobile mentioned about the new Note's specifications, those are not as great as the previous Notes. And if proven to be accurate the next thing will be in question is its price, most probably that is going to be lower than its predecessors' price tag which was not included in the blog post by the tech site.

Well since the report was published, I have not seen any leaked images of the supposed Galaxy Note 8.0 yet. Let's wait a few more days or better yet until MWC 2013 takes place.
