Huawei Outs Ascend Y300, an Android Jelly Bean For P5,490

We used to seeing Huawei brand name as USB broadband sticks and internet modems, but now this Chinese tech company has invaded the smartphone market as they have released other smartphones under their name recently. Huawei is pleased to introduce us their next Android-based smartphone offering, the Huawei Ascend Y300.


This Y300 runs on Google's latest Android operating system Jelly Bean 4.1 right out of the box. Under its hood is the 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor paired with a 512mb of RAM. Not only that, this new Huawei phone has two cameras, the first one is a 5MP back camera partnered with a VGA front shooter. This screen measures 4-inch with IPS display and Corning Gorilla Glass. and a 1,730mAh battery.

The technical specs of the Y300 is not that high based on the current trending as this is categorized as an entry-level smartphone but the good thing about this and everybody will most probably will like is its price tag, Huaweis Ascend Y300 is available for a suggested retail price of Php5,490 and is now available nationwide.
