Nokia Lumia 1520 Phablet To Ship With 3400mAh Battery

Rumors are all around the Nokia's first and upcoming Windows Phone phablet Lumia 1520 which everybody expects to be unveiled on September 26 this year. The 6-inch Lumia is said to be coming out with a massive 3,400mAh battery juice and will house a Snapdragon 800 processor chip. Most of the leaked information about this device is coming from Twitter user @evleaks which has proven itself to be accurate many times before about the new devices coming up. Read on for more details about the rumored Nokia Lumia 1520.

This phablet code named "Bandit" will, reportedly, sport a 1080p HD display and if this is for real, this is going to be the very first Windows Phone to offer the biggest and sharpest display to date. Like what I have already mentioned, the leaked photo above was posted by @evleaks with a caption that says "Nokia Lumia 1520, 2013." It looks like an official press image of the said Bandit and really looks a legitimate Lumia phone by Nokia. The other photo (below) was posted by  WPcentral.com claiming that a source sent the photo to them, though they could not confirm if it is the 1520 but based on physical features in the photo, it seems to be the one.

Aside from the 1080p display, the Lumia 1520 is also said to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor which is also a high end processor of today's smartphones. A polycabonate body is also rumored to be the housing for the device, a 32GB internal storage and cameras to sport 20MP for rear and 5MP for front both to be a PureView lenses. And yes again, the battery is going to be a massive 3,400mAh and again if this is accurate then it will be 200mAh higher that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and 400mAh bigger than Sone Xperia Z1.

The more Nokia releases new high-end Lumia smatphones the more I become a fan of the Nokia again. And I really wanted now to have this Nokia Lumia 1520 once official, but I would like to have the Note 3 first before this. Side by side, these would be epic. But now that Microsoft and Nokia just announced the deal, then we have to see if Microsoft will be able to make it better ot keep its momentum at least.

By the way, there are also reports that Nokia will move the announcement date to October and this time it's not going to be in new York anymore. We'll have to hold on to that until everything is clear and the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet is confirmed.
