Free Facebook Access from Globe Telecom


It's a good news for all Globe's more than 36 million subscribers both prepaid, postpaid and TM users as the Telecom company has partnered with Facebook to offer free Facebook access using smartphones and feature phones. This unprecedented collaboration was announced on Monday by Globe CEO and President Ernest CU and Chris Daniels, vice-president of partnership at Facebook.   

“Once again, Globe has proven that it is the mobile data service provider of choice by industry and technology leaders around the world with this breakthrough partnership with Facebook to give our 36 million subscribers uninterrupted, seamless, and worry-free Free Facebook experience. This is collaboration at its peak, which has resulted in the best and most innovative Free Facebook experience yet,” said Peter Bithos, Senior Advisor for Consumer Business at Globe Telecom. “

This amazing offer will have an initial run of three months starting this coming October 31, 2013. All subscribers can access the Facebook mobile site at m.facebook.com or through the Facebook app free of charge so long that users will remain under the Facebook.com domain. Afraid of extra and unwanted data charges? Do not worry the company said all users who click a link that goes outside of Facebook will be notified that upon proceeding will be charged extra data fee. If a user still wants to move forward, a one-click data plan registration system will be available. Now if you are a prepaid subscriber who has low prepaid credits, you will have an option to "loan" a load and get a 10MB worth of data for only Php10 which will be deducted upon next top-up.

Starting October 31, 2013, subscribers can dial *143# and select FREE FB to know more about Globe Free Facebook.
