LG Announces Tab-Book 2, Ultra PC and All-in-one PC a Week Before CES 2014

The Korean electronics company LG has announced its three new Windows 8 powered devices which are the Ultra PC. Tab-Book 2 and an All-In-One PC one week ahead of the 2014 Consumer Electronics Event in Las Vegas for this year. Some of the specs have been revealed by the LG but others such as the availability date, markets to be released in and pricing were not disclosed and since LG will be a part of this year's CES event, most likely these and other info will revealed there.

The LG Ultra PC, the one being held by the lady in the picture above, has a model number of 13Z940 will feature a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS Display that also boasts LG's Super Narrow Bezel design at just 4.4mm thin and is just 13.6mm at its thickest point. Under the hood, the 980-gram ultrabook is powered by an Intel "Haswell" Core i5 processor. It's a Windows 8 device that will come in two solid state drive storage variants, 128GB and 256GB. Is it Windows 8.1? LG has not confirmed yet.

The other device is called Tab-Book 2, see image below, as what the name suggests, it is a successor to the first Tab-book that was unveiled last year also at CES. Just like the first one, it will also feature a 10-point touch control while running a Windows 8.1 operating system. Behind the 11.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen display lies a QWERTY keyboard. Tab-book 2 also features a slim profile with only measures 16.7mm thin and only weights 1.05kg which is very good when used on the go. Under its hood is the fourth generation Intel Core i5 processor. Tab-book 2 (11T740) has a lighter and and slimmer version with model number 11T540, only weights 930g and 13.7mm thin.

The last and the third one is the LG All-in-One PC, features a 27-inch Full HD IPS Display. Just like the Tab-book 2 it also runs on Windows 8.1 OS. This PC can be used as a TV, monitor or PC and switching from one mode to another is very easy using the included remote control and that means users won't need to reboot the device just to switch from TV to personal computer mode or vice versa. Inside this machine is an Intel Core processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics card. LG also added that this AIO PC has picture-in-picture (PIP) technology so watching TV and browsing the internet all at the same time will not be a problem. HDMI jack is also available with the PC.
