Samsung Silently Announces Galaxy S3 Slim

We are now in the fifth generation of Samsung's Galaxy S line with the S5 being unveiled last month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. And who would have thought that Sammy is still not done with its Galaxy S3 name yet? The Korean company just quietly announced the Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim. Read on for more details and specs of the said device.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim offers an almost phablet 4.62-inch screen size with TFT LCD Display or a 540x960 pixel resolution. Just like many of the smartphones today, the S3 Slim is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. 8GB internal storage will give us not that much of a space for our ever growing files and applications usage, but thank goodness it still expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.

On the back is a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash features. Front one is not that appealing at 0.3MP. Galaxy S3 Slim also supports Bluetooth 4.0, also powered by a 2,100mAh battery size and can be had in white or black variant. Of course it runs Android 4.2 Jellybean operating system. For now this S3 Slim is launched in Brazil with no pricing yet. Many said that since it was launched in Brazil, very likely to happen that other developing markets will have eventually have it too.
