So far, aside from the very first and original MyPhone Rio, we already have Rio Lite, Rio Fun and the newly announced Rio Craze and it looks like the "age of Rio devices" is not going to end any time soon. PinoyTechnoGuide.com was able to spot a product page on MyPhone website that shows specs of an unannounced smartphone, the page does not have the actual photo of the device but the model or name refers to it as "Rio LTE". See below the specs.
MyPhone Rio LTE Specs:
- 4.5" FWVGA IPS Display
- 854x480 resolution , 218ppi
- 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6582M Processor
- 1GB RAM
- 4GB internal storage
- Supports MicroSD card up to 32GB
- 5MP rear camera
- 2MP Front camera
- Motion Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor
- Android 4.4.2 Kitkat
These technical spefications suggest that it still is going to be a budget-friendly smartphone and not going to be priced too far from the original Rio smartphone's current tag.
Taking the LTE capability out of this device, The first MyPhone Rio still has the highest calibration of specs of all the Rios. It has a smaller screen and smaller resolution, smaller battery size and then the rest is the same plus the LTE and Android Kitkat OS already on board. But yes, the Rio LTE specs are not really that bad and this could be the most affordable LTE and Android Kitkat-equipped smartphone around when officially announced and released.
