Oppo just officially announced their newest flagship smartphone for the year which aims to be the ultimate selfie camera of all, the Oppo N3 has just been made official. Following last year's N1, N3 features the iconic swiveling camera now with motorized mechanism and sporting a 16MP with f/2.2 aperture and is able to record 4K videos at 30 frames per second rate. And it's more than just that, Oppo said there is a tiny motor being embedded in the device which helps users to have a better control on the rotation of the camera through simple taps on the smartphone's screen.
Just like many other premium smartphones of today especially from the big guys like Apple, Samsung, HTC and many others, Oppo enclosed the N3 within a metal frame. This steel frame houses a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor at 2.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Unlike the Oppo R5, the N3 supports microSD card for memory expansion.
The screen sports a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, maybe 1080p displays are a bit old but still more than enough to give users satisfying viewing experience. Anyway Quad-HD resolution on smartphones are just starting to adapt by many manufacturers so maybe by next year we'll get 2560x1440 resolution or better on new Oppo smartphones.
