A slightly upgraded version of Galaxy S5 just showed recently showed up on one of Samsung's website, it's in Netherlands to be exact and the device is called Galaxy S5 Plus. Slightly upgraded because aside from its processor which now a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, the rest of the specs are the same we see on the original and recent S5 flagship smartphone.
The first Samsung Galaxy S5 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip. The newest processor (805) is capable of supporting a download speed of up to 225mbps. This specific version of S5 was exclusively released in Singapore a couple of months ago under the name Galaxy S5 4G+ and they sport the same set of specs.
In South Korea Samsung released an even high-end version of the Galaxy S5 device with the same Snapdragon 805 chip but instead of putting a Full HD (1920x1080p) Super AMOLED display on it, the smartphone sports a Quad-HD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 2560x1440 and 3GB of RAM instead of 2GB, the device is called Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A, but only in Korea.
There are no words yet of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus will make its way to the Philippines, but atleast it's starting to get an international release after Singapore. If it's going to be released in the country in the near future, we will know and will definitely update this blog as soon as the information is released and confirmed.
