Blackview is relatively new in the smartphone scene in the Philippines debuting with very affordable smartphones late last month with competitive specs and features offerings. That was not too long ago and Blackview has a new smartphone that just got announced in Hong Kong, it is called Ultra and it looks very familiar. Yes it looks like an iPhone 6 device.
The Blackview Ultra is a mid-ranger smartphone featuring a 4.7-inch HD IPS display sporting a 1280x720 resolution and 312 pixels per inch.Ultra is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MT6582M processor by MediaTek and 1GB of RAM. When it comes to the internal storage, the Blackview Hong Kong webpage for the product is telling two different things. At the upper portion of the page it says 16GB but down to the product details it only says 8GB. Most of the blogs I have seen are saying it is 16GB but all are citing the same source. So it is either 16GB or 8GB, or it could be both. There is also a microSD card slot in the handset that can hold up to 32GB size.
Cameras are quite massive on this one where the back shooter sports a 13MP lens with autofocus and LED flash. The selfie camera or the one on front has 5MP snapper. That's good for selfie pictures and video calling purposes. Blackview Ultra runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat mobile OS and it comes in three color selections such as white, black and gold. Inside the back panel sits a 2,200mAh battery which promises up to 180 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of talk time.
Pricing and availability are yet to be announced by Blackview.
