Acer Taiwan just took the wraps off the new Liquid Jade S smartphone which is now powered by a 64-bit MT6572M octa-core processor from MediaTek pegged at 1.5GHz. Aside from that, the device also supports LTE connectivity and is actually packed with very nice specs. The screen boasts a 5"HD (1280x720p) IPS display with Zero Air Gap technology.
The almost phablet-sized display is shielded by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layering for scratch and shatter protection. For multitasking requirement there will be a 2GB of RAM and then a 16GB of internal storage right out of the box which supports microSD card up to 32GB. The Acer Liquid Jade S will be running Android 4.4.4 Kitkat (hopefully Android 5.0 Lollipop update will follow) and on the back sits a 13MP camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture paired with a 2MP front facing camera.
The usual connectivity options will come with the Liquid Jade S such as LTE, dual-SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and many others. See rest of the specs below.
