Cherry Mobile just released two new super affordable Android smartphones on the market and these are called B100 and B200. Both devices can now be purchased for only Php1,499 each at any CM concept stores and kiosks.
Those are really budget-friendly device but as of writing there are a lot of specs information missing in the announcement video and image. The RAM size was not disclosed, internal storage too but confirmed that the devices support microSD card up to 32GB, and then the actual battery size were not mentioned but instead said to last up to 200 hours on standby mode.
Looks like almost the rest of the specs and price are the same for the two devices. It is important to note that the B200's rear camera has LED flash while the B100 has not, aside from the LED flash the B100 also does not have front camera. That's actually one of my questions why these were even priced the same when everything is not the same.
Plus, the Cherry Mobile B200 and B100 run Android 4.2 Jellybean and do not have 3G connectivity. From my experience, this is not going to be a very smooth navigation experience having Jellybean on a low-spec'd device. If only Cherry Mobile decided to put Android 4.4 Kitkat on these smartphones, I think it would be much more attracted as Android Kitkat is optimized even for devices with lower specs, just like what CloudFone did to their new Ice 353e smartphone which has the same price tag.
