The Lenovo K3 "Music Lemon" is already available in China's one of the largest online retailers called JD but Lenovo has not officially announced the device yet. Starting today the Chinese users can place order for the device for 599 CNY of about Php4,300 when converted. It is certainly Lenovo's challenger to the successful line of smartphones from Xioami by just looking at the pricing and specs it comes with.
Lenovo K3 sports a 5-inch IPS display with 1280x720 resolution and is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB of RAM. There is a 16GB of internal storage which is also expandable via microSD card. Future consumers will get a combination of 8MP and 2MP cameras rear and front respectively. One of the many surprising specs included in the K3 device, again judging its price tag, are the addition of Android 4.4 Kitkat and LTE connectivity, very rare we can find a smartphone with the specs mentioned above under the same price category that is also at the same time supports LTE network.
For now, looks like the Lenovo K3 smartphone will only be available in China and only through online stores like JD. It is also not quite known what's the connection of "Music Lemon" naming to the device aside from of course to the handset's color, of which I really like. Hopefully Lenovo will bring this smartphone to the Philippines too with the same offerings and asking price.
