Spider-man Won't be White in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

So there's this rumor saying that the next Spider-Man won't be a white guy anymore for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Just in case you have missed, earlier this month Marvel Entertainment has announced that they have reached an agreement with Sony Pictures to have Spider-Man joined the on-going Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now the newest reports surrounding Spiderman's character is that Marvel is looking for an actor to play a black Spiderman, probably for Miles Morales character.

That rumor followed yet another rumor claiming that a younger Spiderman is sought for the new films. Younger than the current holder, Andrew Garfield.

So who's the whistle blower behind this new unconfirmed report about the webslinger's future in the hands of Marvel Universe? That is Jeff Sneider, he is a reporter from The Wrap. The subject was brought up on the Meet the Movie Press Podcast, and he even said...

"Listen, this is not set in stone guys, but I’m telling you right now, Spider-Man’s not going to be white. Spider-Man’s not going to be white. I’m 95% sure. Spider-Man’s going to be most likely black. But there’s a chance he could also be Latino. 95% sure, not white…I don’t think it’s going to be Peter Parker.”
If this is actually true and if another rumor is a real deal, we are going to see the first non-white or black Spider-Man in Captain America Civil War and a Spiderman stand alone film in July 2017. And if that black Spiderman is not Peter Parker, then we are looking at his successor, at least in the comics wold, Miles Morales. Miles was the next webslinger when Peter died in a series of comics that was first released in 2011. Or maybe just another skin-colored Peter Parker or it's just the suit that is black in color. Who knows?

The truth is, I am already tired of seeing a new Spiderman white or not, as long as it's still the same Peter Parker, I do not like it anymore. I think it is enough just to see two versions of white Spiderman from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield (for now), I don't think it is likeable anymore to see a single superhero being rebooted multiple times in a decade. Black Spider-man with a different character and different origins? I like that. What about you?
