It was first announced and released in Malaysia earlier this year and now Asus is bringing this ZenFone 4 alternative smartphone to the Philippines "soon".
The photo above is the official announcement that the ZenFone C will indeed be released in the country, they didn't say just when but they will that's for sure. The image was posted on Asus Philippines Facebook page.
So why I said ZenFone 4 alternative? That's because the two smartphones share almost the same set of specs except for some minor upgrades like the battery size and screen display size and resolution. So yeah we can safely say that the ZenFone C is a refresh to the ZenFone 4 with a bit of enhancements. See the specs below.

Like what was mentioned above, the pricing and exact availability date were not disclosed yet but when this ZenFone C device was released in Malaysia it had a price tag of MYR 349 or about Php4,300 in the Philippine currency so we expect the same pricing when it is released here.
