As teased last week, Asus has just officially announced a front camera and selfie-centric smartphone at this year's Computex conference and called the device ZenFone Selfie. And as the rumors suggested, this new ZenFone device is boasting a 13MP front-facing camera as well as the rear one with the same resolution of 13MP.
Asus ZenFone Selfie is a ZenFone 2 will a couple of differences.
Many of us were already aware that this new ZenFone device will mostly sport the same specs as those found on the most successful ZenFone 2, of course with a few changes. There's the bigger 13MP front camera, a tougher Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and and instead of an Intel SoC, a Snapdragon 615 is powering the ZenFone Selfie which is still an octa-core one with two clusters. Four Cortex A53 at 1.7GHz and four Cortex A53 at 1.0GHz
Not all specs and features are already revealed yet.
Although it's been announced, Asus has not completely released yet all the technical specifications we can expect from the ZenFone Selfie like the RAM, internal storage and battery size. However if this is really a ZenFone 2 spinoff, then we could be looking at a device with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM, 16/32/64GB built-in storage and a massive 3,000mAh battery pack depending on model.
