While it is very unlikely that the Philippines will get this device here on the local market, I would still like to make a post about this smartphone as it sports a feature that we normally don't see in today's smartphones both from local and international brands. It's a Chinese-made device called Homtom HT6 and as what you have read in the title, this phone offers an insane 6,250mAh battery capacity.
The closest devices I can associate with this Homtom HT6 in terms of battery size are the THL 5000 which has 5,000mAh battery inside, then the Gionee Marathon M3 sporting the same 5,000mAh battery and then of course the Gionee Marathon M5's 6,020mAh juice. Even though there maybe some other devices that beat them that I am not aware of, still the Homtom HT6 has the biggest battery power storage I have heard of.
If Homtom brand does not ring a bell, that's because it's a sub-brand of the Chinese company Doogee. If this Homtom HT6 will make international debut especially in the PH just like Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu and others, we will definitely know them more about it and become one of those talked about smartphone brands.
Furthermore, for smartphones with huge battery sitting under the back panel we usually expect the device to be bulky in order to accommodate the massive power house, but that is not the case on Homtom HT6. Tech blogs say that the handset will only measure about 9.9mm, that is extremely thin for a device with this 6,250mAh battery size. Another thing is, for big batteries charging time also takes time, but then again that is not the situation here, thanks to MediaTek's fast charge technology called PumpExpress Plus. This will enable the phone to be charged up to 75% in just 30 minutes.
So far those are the available information about the Homtom HT6, plus some other specs below and it's expected September launch.

If we want this smartphone to be here in the Philippines too, we can now start praying. And when it does, hopefully the pricing is not going to be that big too.
