Lenovo Ideacentre Stick 300 is Coming to PH

Looks like PC-on-a-Stick concept is now becoming a trend as major tech companies like Microsoft's Intel Compute Stick, Google's Chromebit Stick and many others have lately been populating the tech world. The Lenovo Ideacentre Stick 300, also a USB-sized PC which was first launched in June has been confirmed by Lenovo Philippines to be releasing in the country very "soon" and that's according to their Facebook post a few days ago.

Just in case you do not know yet, Microsoft Intel Compute Stick is already available in the local market for a price tag of about Php7,800 on Lazada PH. It's been here since last month.

Now back to the Lenovo Ideacentre Stick 300, it's priced in the US with about $20 cheaper than the Intel Compute Stick and we are talking about $150 vs $130 price tickets here. If that is the case over there, it is most likely the same here. Less than Php7k when it hits PH? Hopefully the answer is yes. We'll know very soon.

Lenovo Ideacentre Stick 300 specs:

- 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z3735F processor
- 32GB internal storage
- Supports MicroSD card
- Windows 8.1 OS
- USB 2.0 Port
- WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0

Based on the specs above, the Stick 300's offering is almost the same as the one found on the Intel Compute Stick and still more affordable. It was also confirmed that the tiny computer will be released running Windows 8.1 OS but will eventually be updated for free to the newest Windows 10.

Once you get this pocket-sized computer, all you have to have is an HDMI-ready monitor or TV and bluetooth-powered keyboard and mouse to complete the whole PC experience.
