Samsung's latest compact and mirror-less camera NX500 has officially been launched in the Philippines yesterday. This new camera sports DRIME5 processing power which makes it 2.8 faster than its predecessor and produces better quality of photos with less noise. It shares most features found on the flagship Samsung NX1 which is much pricier than the NX500 without compromising the performance and quality.
Due to its new processor, users are now enabled to take videos with up to 4K resolution with 24fps, which is super crisp and vivid videos that are so much better than the conventional Full HD quality. The device's main function which is the camera boasts a 28.2MP calibration equipped with the latest Backside Illuminated APS-C type sensor paired with a flipping (up to 90 degrees) and rotating (up to 180 degrees) screen with VGA Super AMOLED tounch-enabled display.
One of the key features of the Samsung NX500 camera is what is referred to as the Hybrid Autofocus technology. It is a type of sensor sporting an on-surface phase detection for best autofocus speed accuracy at 0.55 second target and is designed to support a maximum of 205 AF Phase Detect points. Sounds cool right?
