Asus keeps on expanding their ZenFone series of smartphones with the announcement of ZenFone 2 Deluxe, Laser and Selfie earlier this month in India. These new devices are also set to arrive in the Philippine market this month. In Brazil, this Taiwanese company just announced a super ZenFone 2 spinoff under the Deluxe moniker, it's a "Special Edition" sporting a massive 256GB internal storage.
Goodbye microSD card, sort of, at least you won't be needing one as soon as you buy this buddy. As far as I can remember, this is the biggest device to ever sport such huge storage that is twice as found on some of the iPhone and Galaxy flagships.
Apart from the upgraded internal memory space, the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition is the same ZenFone 2 and ZenFone 2 Deluxe we know, sporting the same 5.5-inch Full HD display, 64-bit Intel Atom processor, 4GB of RAM and a combination of 13MP-5MP cameras.
As of writing the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will only be available in Brazil starting next month for a price tag yet to be announced. This variant will also be available in two back panel designs such as the 'multifaceted polygonal finish' and carbon-fiber black.
