The Japanese company Sony Electronics has just unveiled a couple of brand new smartphone offerings and one of those is the Xperia M5. Although this device still falls under mid-range category, it sits very close to being a flagship device in terms of today's standards of those marquee smartphones from well known brands. And that's due to the amount of specs and functionaility this Xperia M5 is loaded with.
I actually wanna call this phone a "super midrange" one. Again, due to the specs it is going to offer once officially released sometime this month. To mention a few, right out of the box the Xperia M5 boasts a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by some of the newest techs and Sony-exclusive hardwares. There's the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 which takes care of the of display functionality of the handset, this means that our viewing experience with this device is basically taken to the next level, inside it housed a newest 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio X10 processor paired with 3GB of RAM.
The rear camera is pegged at a staggering 21MP pixels with Sony's Exmore RS lens and is capable of recording up to 4K of videos. Now, 4K videos can take a lot of memory space when saved, the Xperia M5 comes with a default 16GB storage space which is too small if you want to start recoding 4K clips on this device, but it supports microSD card of up to 200GB of size. I think that should be enough at least, but still a pretty spacey memory card for a smartphone. The front-facing shooter is not going to disappoint you either as is sports a 13MP resolution all equipped with Exmore RS lens.
Of course the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS completes the package and up to LTE network support. The device will be available in either single or dual-SIM, I guess that will depend on the market. It's also water and dust proof through its IP65/68 certification.
