One of the downsides of living in Davao city is if you are a geek or a blogger, then there is an on going comic con gathering in Manila and you just simply cannot attend. Good thing is we have the internet, the #AsiaPopComicon hashtag and an army of geeks at the event who were more than happy to upload their photos on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Since I was not able to fly to Manila last week and encounter the very first Asia Pop Comic Con in the country, I went to instagram and see what everybody has been doing up there at the Word Trade Center.

There were a lot of photos and short videos that got posted online, for sharing and documenting purposes in case I would want to revisit these photos in the future, I created this post embedding some of the great( I think) pictures from this Asia Pop Comic Con. See them below.

Nathalie Emmanuel popularly known as Missandei on HBO's hit series Game of Thrones, was one of the most anticipated actors at this event.

Do you remember the first part of Avengers: Age of Ultron end credits? It's actually a real thing. Cool!

Paul Bettany the man who played J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man movie series and The Vision in Avenger: Age of Ultron. I heard people who attended a panel with Bettany were shown an exclusive Captain America: Civil War footage. Lucky people.
