Not only Xiaomi has just released a new smartphone device this week, but also its Chinese electronics counterpart Meizu. Meizu now formally announced the Pro 5. Like the new Xiaomi Mi 4c, the Meizu Pro 5 also sports the latest kind of USB port, the USB Typce-C which is a reversible one. Also, the Pro 5 will come in two configurations and pricing.
One of the sweetest things about this Meizu Pro 5 is the type of processor that powers it on the inside which is the Exynos 7420. Now if you are familiar with this processor, you will recognize that this is the same chip powering the flagships Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and the latest Note 5, and S6 Edge+.
As I mentioned above, the Meizu Pro 5 will be released in two variants and those are 3GB RAM/32GB storage option bearing a price tag of ¥2,799 (Php20,600) and 4GB RAM/64GB storage version for ¥3,099 (Php22,800).
On the front side, the smartphone features a massive 5.7-inch screen size with Full HD Super AMOLED type of display, not only that it also sports 2.5D curved glass and relatively thin bezels. There is still a one physical button found at the lower part of the screen which serves as a back and home key at the same time, plus a more enhanced Fingerprint sensor called mTouch 2.1.
For the camera, it also have a massive on coming in at staggering 21MP camera on the back equipped with Sony IMX230 sensor and paired with a 5MP secondary shooter. When it comes to OS, it's running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with Meizu's own Flyme 5 OS.

As you can see in the list of specs, the Meizu Pro 5 houses a huge 3,080mAh battery pack. It's a massive one that may take time to recharge, thankfully Meizu has their own fast charging technology called mCharge and it promises a 0-65% charge in just 30 minutes. This new Meizu smartphones will come to China starting October 12, 2015.
