The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is back as it just unveiled a couple of new product offerings for this year, at least in China in the meantime. One of those newly announced gadgets is the Xiaomi Mi 4c smartphone powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset, the same processor that powers many flagship devices we know.
One of the main selling points of this device apart from the processor and of course price, is the implementation of USB Type-C reversible port which is touted as the future of cable.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c will be released in two configurations in terms of RAM and storage, there will be 2GB RAM with 16GB flash storage combo and a 3GB RAM/32GB flash duo, both will be available in China starting today for ¥1,299 and ¥1,499 (Php9,600 and Php11,000) price tags respectively. As of writing, there is no word yet if this newest device will ever reach outside of China, like the Philippines. However, if we are to believe what Gadgets.NDTV.com said, a representative from Xiaomi confirmed to them that this Mi 4c device is a China-only smartphone.
