I know a lot of fans became so excited when Samsung unveiled the Injustice Edition of Galaxy S7 Edge a couple of months back complete with official unboxing video. Today, Samsung is releasing another limited edition of the same device, that's the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Games Edition.
It will be released in a very limited numbers and markets. Only 2,016 units will be ever made for the public, clearly to celebrate this year's Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil next month. According to a post on GSMArena, all athletes competing in the Rio 2016 Olympics will receive one unit each as well as a pair Gear IconX wireless earbuds. This Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Games Edition will be available for purchase beginning July 18 and only in the US, Brazil, China, Germany, and Korea countries. Pricing is yet to be announced.
Like the Injustice Edtion, this one here is also mostly in black casing with some unique Olympic-inspired designs and coloring. Like on the back you'll see the official Olympic Rings, then on the front panel are yellow accents with red and green on the sides. This will also come with a Rio 2016 app pre-installed as well as some wallpapers and images inspired by the Rio 2016 Olympics.
