Pegged as the smartphone that thinks big, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has finally arrived in the Philippine market. Samsung recently held a "Noteworthy Affair" event at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-la at the Fort attended by celebrities, ambassadors, and select member of the media to officially welcome the local launch of the newest Samsung flagship device, the Note7.
Samsung Electronics Philippines IT and Mobile Business Head Rhinn Piczon emphasized that the Note series has come a long way since its first iteration in 2011. Back in the day when the Galaxy Note 1 was to first release in the public, many critics and competitors doubted the phablet's success due to its large screen and S-Pen. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is proof that perseverance pays off as the tech giant continues to pave the way for innovation, especially in the phablet category.

The phablet combines best of both work and play rolled into one gadget, which continues to provide the necessary tools that every change-maker needs. One of the most exciting features of the Note 7 is the debut of Iris Scanner on a Samsung device. Yes, the iris scanner is now on the Note7 which also works pretty much the same way as the well-loved fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device and making online purchases, of course being only accessible using a user's iris, this adds another layer of security to the phone's data. Speaking of security, there is now a "Secure Folder" in this phone which simply locks in all the photos, files, and even apps into one folder that only you can access. Memory card, waterproof features and an enhanced S Pen are some of the new additions to this Note7 that users can be excited about when considering buying this device or upgrading their existing one.
"With its enhanced functions, the most intelligent smartphone to date makes not just work, but life as a whole, much easier and much more convenient. It enables consumers to create a noteworthy idea out of a small inspirations and big thinking." he continued.
