Android 7.0 Nougat-Powered Nokia 6 is Coming to Lazada

When the Nokia 6 was officially launched earlier this month, it was initially meant for China only release with no global launch on sight. To the Nokia fans, that was both great and worse news ever. But that's about to change though as Lazada Philippines will begin offering the smartphone on its website starting on January 26, 2017 for a price tag of just Php18,590.

Nokia is still a big brand in China as when the device finally became available for online purchase via JD.com's 24-hour flash sale event, it was reported that all units went sold out in just a minute. That's a hell of start for a brand that's just coming back to the now-crowded smartphone market not just in China but also in other parts of the globe.

We, Filipinos are one of those fan bases that are still waiting for Nokia to release Android-powered devices. And now knowing that Lazada Philippines will also be selling this in the country, I am pretty sure a lot of units will also be sold in shorter period of time.

As of posting, the Nokia 6 page on Lazada is now up but not taking any orders yet. However, you can now sign up via email so that Lazada can notify you as soon as the units become available. But Lazada has already confirmed via email that was sent to us earlier today that the Nokia 6 will indeed become available starting tomorrow, January 26, 2017.
