Here Comes a New Selfie Challenger with 20MP Front Cameras

Up until today there are only two smartphone brands that are battling and dominating in the selfie market arena in the Philippines - Vivo and OPPO. These two giants are now either offering dual selfie camera or dual rear camera smartphones and both are performing really good in terms of sales and user base with OPPO taking the lead. However, that appears to change though and it looks like we are now getting a new challenger in the selfie-centric devices category. Enter Huawei.

The Chinese electronics giant, Huawei just launched two new midrange smartphones in their home country that emphasize more on the front camera which seems to aim at selfie lovers. Meet the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus.

As you may already know, these newly launched Android 7.0 Nougat-powered devices are follow up to last year's Nova and Nova Plus models that Huawei released. And with these new iterations come new trending technology especially in the camera department. The Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus, while still sporting unibody metal casing, also took some construction inspirations from Huawei's own P10 series.
