Vivo V7+ Launched in PH Bears 18:9 Display and Php17,990 Price Tag

As previously confirmed, Vivo Philippines has finally launched its newest flagship selfie-focused smartphone in the country called the V7+. While this phone still features bigger and better front facing camera than the rear one just like the previous installments, its unique traits do not end there. Apart from the massive 24MP selfie camera (vs 16MP on the back), the V7+ also has a trendy display design.

The Chinese smartphone maker has released its very first smartphone offering sporting the now-becoming-popular 18:9 aspect ratio display across its 5.99-inch size screen. Like many other companies that have released their own edge-to-edge or nearly-bezel less devices, Vivo has its own unique name for this type of front design - FullView Display. It still has those nice 2.5D curved glass panel complemented with more rounded edges for a much better grip. And for the resolution, this one boasts HD+ of 1440 x 720 pixel arrangement. This may not be good news for some people who are very particular in display quality, but for most it should be okay especially those on a budget but want to try 18:9 aspect ratio-equipped smartphone and what it has to offer.

Powering the Vivo V7+ is a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor paired with a huge 4GB RAM and will be working together  with a default 64GB internal storage. The device can handle microSD card for additional memory space up to 256GB. Alongside the Qualcomm-made chip is an Andreno 506 GPU. Music lovers will also appreciate its AK4376A Hi-Fi chip embedded inside it.

Connectivity wise, users will get the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS as well as dual-SIM support and 4G LTE functionality. It also supports USB OTG which is pretty useful for people who stores their files in separate storages like flash drives.

Of course there is a Fingerprint Scanner on this smartphone sitting on its back just right at the upper center. In terms of color options, only two selections will be made available and those are Matter Black and Champagne Gold.
