LG Unveils Their New Flagship Phone, LG Optimus G

Most of us today when buying a new phone, we tend to only have two options in our list, iOS or Android? Or Apple or Samsung? It is undisputedly obvious that these two manufacturers are kings in
smartphone and tablet devices race. In the next few weeks we will be able to witness again new generations of gadgets coming from these tech giants.

We often forget to see that there are other players worth considering like HTC, Lenovo, Motorola or LG.

Did you know that LG has just announced their new flagship smartphone? We have not witnessed yet the power of their first quad-core phone Optimus 4X HD in the Philippines, here they are again unleashing a new
monster android phone.

I call it monster because of its specs which are very hard to just ignore. Like what I mentioned in my previous posts, the first thing I look for a phone is the size of its screen and its features. Optimus G
offers us 4.7inch True HD IPS display with its pixels arranged at 1280x768. Under the hood are 4G LTE and 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. One of its selling points is the ability to zoom in and
out while a video is playing, eve in HD will work just time.

For spaces there's no problem, it will provide us a 2GB or RAM and a 32GB internal storage, there's no word yet if this phone will have other storage size variants.

The only not-so-good news about this gadget is aside from it will be available first in Korea this September is that Optimus G will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. I hope they will roll out JellyBean as soon as it hits Philippine market. Additional muscle of this phone is the 13MP front facing camera and a 1.3MP front one. Battery is also impressive at 2,100mAh.

With the much anticipated coming out of Galaxy Note 2 and iPhone 5 in time for holidays, I am pretty sure this new LG device will be available before the year ends.
