RIM is Set to Launch Blackberry 10 in January

Research In Motion, the Canadian maker of the Blackberry devices announces on Monday that they will hold an event on January 30 of next year.

The much-delayed Blackberry 10 operating system is nearing completion as RIM is going to unveil the latest BB OS together with the new Blackberry smartphones that will be running on the BB10 software in
the first quarter of 2013.

This is going to be a make-or-break for the Canadian tech firm to get back their dominance on the smartphone arena as it struggles to maintain their market share in the mobile and tablet industry for the last couple of years as Apple and Samsung continue to dominate the scenes.

According to most tech blogs only Blackberry 10 smartphones are mentioned to be launched on the said event and nothing about tablets or phablets. I hope RIM is preparing us a surprise for this date. We
will find out if 2013 is going to be a Blackberry year.
