The Chinese tech company Huawei takes the throne as the company that offers the biggest smartphone upon unveiling the Huawei Ascend Mate boasting a 6.1-inch display screen.

This is another clear attempt to compete with the current smartphone and tablet kings in the gadget market Apple and Samsung.

Huawei announced the Ascend Mate at the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) currently being held in Las Vegas USA. Pricing ang availability of the device were not revealed though but most probably
it will be brought to our land sometime this year. Ascend Mate beats the Samsung's current flagship phablet Galaxy Note 2 in terms of screen measurement.

I recall when Galaxy Note 1 was released some users feel odd holding the Note to their ears when taking and making calls due to its massive size, how much more when using a 6.1 inch one? Let's just see if
Huawei's phablet will offer a different user experience when it gets released.

Huawei Ascend Mate Specs:

- 6.1-inch 720p display
- 1280x720 resolution
- 32GB internal storage space
- 2GB of RAM
- 8MP Camera at 1080p
- 4050 mAh li-ion Battery
- Android Jellybean
