HTC Unveils HTC One Smartphone

Earlier this month I was thinking what's happened with HTC as I have not heard anything from them since the last time they unveiled their Windows Phone 8-based smartphones or maybe I was just too lazy reading the news. But very recently the company has just announced its new flagship smartphone, the HTC One.

The HTC One sports a 4.7-inch 1080p full HD display with 1920x1080 pixels. Under its hood are the 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor paired with a 2GB of RAM. For the camera it offers 4 megapixel UltraPixel calibration. UltraPixel is a technology introduced by HTC which allows its phones to take a picture and capture more light that is up to 3x the normal smartphones of today can do, so for those users who love taking pictures in a low light settings this is a perfect one for you. HTC also introduces the HTC Zoe, this will give us a Harry Potter-like photo experience. This allows the camera to take up to 20 images and a 3-second video at a single click, "so your entire photo album becomes  becomes a living, breathing gallery" according to HTC One's webpage.

This new smartphone from HTC also sports another characteristic or feature that was never offered in the previous HTC phones, it's the aluminum unibody design (the same thing we see in iPhones). HTC BoomSound is another reason for switching to the One as it provides two front facing speakers with built-in mini amplifiers, louder and clearer sound and definitely a fantastic music experience.

Other common handset specs are 32GB and 64GB storage options, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 4.1.2 and a 2,300mAh battery.
