Aple.de.ap Completes "The Voice of the Philippines" Coaches

I just heard that the Black-Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap is the fourth voice coach on the much anticipated reality-based Pinoy singing sensation search contest The Voice of the Philippines.

Apl.de.ap (The Voice of Hip-hop) completes the panel of the voice coaches as he joins Bamboo Manalac (The Voice of Rock), Sarah Geronimo (The Voice of Pop) and Lea Salonga (The Voice of Broadway). Together with Toni Gonzaga and Robi Domingo as the hosts, The Voice of the Philippines will start airing on the second quarter of 201under of course, the Kapamilya network ABS-CBN.

The international hip-hop rapper said in an interview on The Filipino Channel (TFC London), "I want to be able to find other Filipino artists and showcase their talent around the world."

He also added that "We're barely scratching the surface. Pinoys are born to sing. So we just got to go find them in the nooks and crannies, in the provinces, the outskirts of the Philippines, there are just so many."

After knowing all the names of the coaches that joined this show, only two words I managed to say immediately, "That's cool". It excites me more to see its pilot episode soon and watch those some of the
Philippines music icons and prides, Bamboo, Sarah, Lea and Allan Pineda aka Apl.de.ap all in one show.

I have seen a few episodes of The Voice where Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Christina Aguillera are two of the coaches and it is the "Blind Audition" portion is what I like the most.

So what does it mean? I will definitely set the date and watch the first episode of The Voice of the Philippines.
