HTC and Facebook Announce "HTC First" Android Phone

After waves of speculations about Facebook's Android event held on April 4, finally Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook confirmed that they were not creating a Facebook phone nor a software of their
own but two new major products were introduced at the event.

First was the "Facebook Home" a new app download which showcases a "family of Facebook apps" plus other Facebook-developed features for Android phones and then the "HTC First" which will come pre-loaded with Facebook Home out of the box.

At the event HTC announced the HTC First Androide phone and this is a new phone to be manufactured by HTC in partnership with Facebook. The social giant network and HTC have previously released handsets with special integrations with Facebook such as HTC Chacha, HTC Status and HTC Salsa.

According to most tech blogs in the US, the HTC First will be available under AT&T network for only $99.99 on a two-year contract. There was also a report on The Verge website that Zuckerberg said HTC
First will also be available on Orange and EE providers in Europe but on timeframe was mentioned as to when it will be. So for now or maybe forever, we don't have any information he the First will ever get to
our shore.
