"Halo: Spartan Assault" Coming to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 Devices

Microsoft has a lot of announcements for all its fans and followers this quarter. We know that Xbox One gaming console has been unveiled and was one of the main treats this company has for us, plus other games that are only created for the new Xbox console and not to mention that Steven Spielberg is also developing a live-action television series for the Halo franchise. Now I can't wait to see how the series is going to look like knowing that it is one of the genius directors will be behind its cameras.

But that is not the reason why I posted this entry. It is because of super newest announcement made by Microsof. Very recently, today actually, Microsoft and 343 Industries  just announced that the game franchise "Halo: Spartan Assault" will be released for Window 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices next month for an estimated price of $6.99. This particular game will be a single-player top down shooter game and the events in this one take place between Halo 3 and Halo 4. Just be advised that if you purchased the game for your Windows 8, that does not mean you can also play it on your Windows Phone 8 device. No, you have to separately buy the game for your Windows Phone 8 smartphone.

Now since this shooting game is under Microsoft which owns Windows-based operating system, seems like it is very impossible for iOS and Android users to get their hands on this game using their devices. I hope not. See the trailer embedded trailer below.
