Temple Run for Windows Phone 8 Now Available For Devices With 512MB RAM

Good news if you own a smartphone running Windows Phone 8 mobile OS that has at least 512MB RAM as the people from Imangi Studios have made some tweaks on the popular endless running game app Temple Run to make it available for your device. Yes, that is right! The updated Temple Run for Windows Phone 8 can now be played on devices with 512MB RAM.

Earlier this year when the first Temple Run for Windows Phone 8 was released, many WP8 users were not happy as it was only playable on handsets with 1GB RAM such as HTC OneX, Nokia Lumia 820, Lumia 920 and Lumia 925. If I were one of those WP8 with 512MB RAM owners, I would be mad until June 19, 2013 the day Imangi Studios announced the update on their @TempleRun Twitter account. See below...

What are the phones that have this 512MB RAM? These are HTC 8S, Nokia Lumia 620, Lumia 520 and Lumia 720. There might be some other WP8 phones that have the same spec.

According to it Windows Phone 8 app store page, it was last updated June 19 which was the same date of announcement. However the page does not say yet that it's now good for those kind of WP8 devices. But there is already a comment from one of he users that says "Sa wakas compatible na sa lumia 720 very great games but sometimes crash but anyway 5star tnx for bringing the app for lumia 512mb device. From lumia 720".

Now the next thing those WP8 users and at the same time fans of Temple Run are waiting for is the release of the Temple Run 2 for their devices. Let's just hope that it would not take for iOS and Android users first to have their Temple Run 3 before we see the dawn of Temple Run 2 on Windows Phone 8.
