Nokia Lumia 525

The Nokia Lumia 520 is the one of the most popular Windows Phone 8 devices around and Nokia's bestselling Lumia smartphone, but there is just one downturn with this device, it only offers 512MB of RAM which is the problem with most users especially when downloading or even playing game apps where most require at least 1GB of RAM. The Finnish company Nokia heard it and that is why they just announced the successor to it, Nokia Lumia 525.

Nokia upgraded the RAM for the Lumia 525, which now boasts 1GB of RAM. While the Random Access Memory is now doubled on the Lumia 520's successor which is pretty good enough for multitasking needs, the rest of the specs are still almost identical to the older one. We see a 4-inch WVGA display, 800x540 pixels,  a 5MP back camera, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual-core processor. The 1,430mAh battery and back cover are swappable, the back panel or the shells can be exchanged with other colored shells which as available in orange, yellow, white blue and black. Please take note that the camera still has no flash and the front-facing camera is still not present on this one. There would be an 8GB of storage capacity on board and can be expandable via microSD card.

No final information yet on its market availability and pricing, but Nokia said that the Lumia 525 will initially be available in Singapore for around $199.
