Yesterday Starmobile held a press event called "Gold Rush" where it announced a total of 12 new smartphone and tablet Android gadgets.  Yes, 12 devices in one media event from one company. It was indeed a gold rush. Very recently the local brand name just unveiled the Starmobile Diamond D1, a phablet sized quad-core phone for only Php7,990 and I thought that was it for this year, I was wrong. Meet these new gadgets, Diamond D2, Diamond S1, Diamond S2, Diamond S3, Muse, Navi, Like, Engage 8 3G, Engage 8 Quad, Engage 7+, Engage 7 TV and the Starmobile Sync. So many to take right? Read on for more details about these devices.

I don't know what's their reason for unveiling so much smartphones this year and especially at this event. The only thing I know is they aim for reaching a million Filipinos before the year ends as per post on Yahoo! Philippines website. Actually some of the names of these devices are familiar to me especially the Engage line up as there were some Engage tablets that were launched a couple of months back, I actually created a post here about those gadgets.

So are you ready for the those smartphones and tablets technical specs and their prices? Come on let's take a look one by one.

Starmobile Diamond D2.

It is  a massive one, this is the biggest Starmobile device ever released by the company and to me it is more of a tablet than a phablet as it measures 6.8-inch diagonally, that is even bigger than Samsung Galaxy Mega which only measures 6.3". But it's nowhere near Galaxy Mega's offering and that is majorly because of its price. Starmobile Diamond D2 will cost you Php7,990, the same price as the Diamond D1. Below are the specs.

There you go. a lot right? But still, we are lacking some other important information about the phones and tablets. I even checked Starmobile's website and Facebook page to see if I would be able to find other information but to no avail. I will keep on checking their pages to get more information and it's either I will update this post or will create a new one depending on the amount of details for these new Android gadgets.

One last thing, there is a Starmobile-owned and newly created app call Sync or Starmobile Sync. It is a software feature that will allow Starmobile and non-Starmobile devices to easily sync and transfer contacts, calendar entries and text messages between these handsets.
