Meet The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition

If I am not mistaken, LG G Pad 8.3 is the very first tablet to get a Google Play Edition treatment. Well, it was just made official. Just like the original version of the G Pad tablet, all specs will remain the same aside from the running Android in it, it will sport the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat and it's a stock version of Kitkat. Stock version means, it is untouched and does not included tablet and smartphone manufacturers' customization, a pure Android 4.4 Kitkat.

I would like to and would rather have a Google Play Edition of this kind of device because I am just a common type of user who simply and most of the time use a  device for browsing the internet plus some other basics stuff. Like many other users out there, I don't use many of the manufacturers' software and features so having a very simple version of Android device is the best bet for me. Another great thing about having this kind of device is that the Google Play Editions are getting software updates first and directly from Google than any other Android devices.

The LG G Pad 8.3 offers you an 8.3-inch Full HD IPS Display with a pixel resolution of 1920x1200, that should be more than enough pixels to see display in most detailed way. There would be a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM. 16GB of internal storage will be available right away, an microSD slot is also available for memory expansion.  5MP and 1.3MP rear and front cameras will also be included. For the battery, the 4,600mAh size is good enough to last for a long and hard usage.

This device is now available on Google Play for a price of $349. Sad thing is, it's not (maybe yet) available on Google Play webpage in the Philippines.
