MyPhone Angua Rio Announced

During the first MyPhone Youth Tech Congress that took place from Febraury 27 until Match 1, this Pinoy tech company unveiled not just its first Octa-core powered Android smartphone which they call MyPhone Infinity but also a mid-range Android offering and it is called MyPhone Agua Rio.

Powering the Agua Rio is the 1.2GHz Quad-core processor by Mediatek paired with 1GB RAM for a much better multitasking experience. This device is also an Android Jellybean 5-inch HD smartphone with resolution equivalent to 1280x720p that is also equivalent to 294ppi. On the back face there would be an 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera. And then for storage purposes there is 4GB built in memory space and can be expanded via microSD card. The back cover of the device is also colorful just like what we see in iPhone 5c and some other Nokia phones and are also interchangeable.

There is no exact pricing yet but many bloggers who were able to attend the tech event are saying that the Rio will be priced under Php8000. Some other essential specs are still to be unveiled such as the battery size and which exact version of Android the device will come with, we will definitely know that before the MyPhone Rio comes out by the end of the month.
