[Update] Oppo Find 7 is Now Official with 2K Display and 50MP Photos

The specs found in this newly unveiled Oppo Find 7 Android smartphone are crazy and promises a lot. Judging these technical specifications, I can say that this is the best smartphone ever. Prior to this announcement, there were a good number leaks and rumors that were released before and most of these were found to be accurate here especially the whopping 50MP photo that can be produced by the phone. Read on to see how it works.

Let us take note that the Find 7 only sports 13MP Sony sensor on its backside and in order for users to get a 50MP photo, according to Engagdget the device is powered by Oppo's Pure Image 2.0 an image signal processor which takes 10 consecutive shots  in a very fast instance, then picks 4 of the best ones and stitch them together into a 50-megapixel still. Amazing right? First of its kind that I have heard of so far in smartphone. An image in this size can be as big as 8160x6120 and up to 10MB size each.

The camera can also record a 4k video at 30 fps or a slo-mo ones as slow as 100fps (frames per second). The front features a 5MP camera, more than enough clarity for selfie and video calling purposes.

Oppo Find 7 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with QHD display which is a 2560x1440 resolution and that us equivalent to 558ppi. It's just a massive device in terms of specs and features. But all of it will come to test once it is out in the wild and that's where the device should wow both tech enthusiasts and common users of this kind of device. Underneath it is a 2.5GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with a 3GB of RAM. There is a 32GB storage right out of the box and if that is still not enough space for users, they can expand it via microSD card up to 128GB.

If there's one downer in this monster, that would be the Android 4.3 Jelly bean it runs on. I hope there will be an update to 4.4 Kitkat which would really make the device very delicious. 3,000mAh battery size is also on board. According to the Oppo's website the device has an equivalent dollar price of around $570 when converted.
