MyPhone Rio Over-The-Air (OTA) Software Update Released

One of the good traits of a good company is when they listen to what their customers are saying about their products or services. Many consumers will definitely fall in love more with the company when they take care of them even after their products have been purchased, and that's what MyPhone just did. They just did not hear but they also listened to MyPhone Rio owners. MyPhone just released an OTA update for the Rio after complaints started to get online about the device.

Many reviewers and users are requesting and commenting that it would be far better if MyPhone Rio users will have an option to download apps directly to its microSD cards and also have the option to remove unwanted apps from the phone.

Through MyPhone's Facebook page, it announced that they have released an over-the-air software update for the Rio Android smartphone fixing and granting those complaints and requests. If you own MyPhone Rio, make sure you do have the newest version. If you don't kindly follow the steps below on how to update your smartphone. Be advised that the update I am talking about here is for MyPhone Rio versions V1.11 to V1.15

1. Go to "Settings"
2. Choose "About phone".
3. Then "System updates"

Updating to v1.15 will fix the following:
1. The apps can be installed to SD card now
2. Put system update function in the main menu
3. Removed some apps(PinoyPhone App and others)

NOTE: You must have a consistent data or WiFi connection to avoid interruption.

MyPhone said in the same Facebook post, Rio with software version v1.06, users will have to wait for the official announcement for it.
