Spotify Philippines is Here, Partners With Globe Telecom

Today April 8, 2014 Spotify Philippines is finally official and can now be accessed by millions of Filipino users in the country. This is made possible by the music streaming service provider through parnership with one of the Philippines' biggest telecommunications providers, Globe Telecom. Users can now download the Spotify mobile app from iTunes or Google Play to start enjoying and accessing its roster of more than 30 million songs including local hits or OPM songs.

Just like Spotify in other countries, users can upgrade their subscriptions to its Premium Plan which will cost them only Php129 per month. This premium access allows users to download and listen to songs offline which is actually more convenient especially for music lovers who are always on the go but to internet connection all the time. Payments can be made via regular credit card or through Paypal account. They can also have the free account but ad-supported. So if you want to get rid of the ads and have downloading option, premium is the best option. Comparing the Spotify Premium fee with other countries, we have the most affordable rate.

Now if you are a Globe user, starting April 13 you can get Spotify Premium access via GoSURF mobile data plan. For as low as Php10 on GoSURF10, you get 10mb worth of data or Spotify access which is good for 24hrs. There are also other plans such as GoSURF299 with 700mb of data and Spotify Premium valid for 30 days and GoSURF999 that is for 5GB also for 30 days.
