Zack Snyder Will Officially Direct "Justice League" Movie

DC Entertainment's Justice League

It's been rumored and expected for some time now that Warner Bros would also create its own superhero-studded movie version of Marvel's the Avengers, and today The Wall Street Journal got a confirmation that WB has officially started working on the Justice League movie, that it will be heading its way to the big screen and will be directed by Zack Snyder.

In this Justice League movie, for the characters of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman it is expected Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot to reprise their roles respectively who are currently filming Batman vs Superman film under the direction of Zack Snyder as well.

“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” said Mr. Silverman. “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League.’” the WSJ repor says.

The script is currently in development and no other information has released such as the opening date, actors and characters who will join the project. In the Justice League comics, aside from the three superheroes mentioned above, Acquaman, Flash and Green Lantern are also part of the team. The sequel to last year's Man of Steel is still underway which has an unofficial title of "Batman vs Superman" is set to be released in May 2016. Since it is very unlikely to see a new sequel after a year, the Justice League will probably not be hitting cinemas at least 2018. Although there are other sources claiming that Justice League will be released in 2017.

That is still a long way to go and a lot of things can still hapen until then, but it is already confirmed and will definitely happen. Since I love almost every movie Zack Snyder has created especially the 300, and like what I always say, as long as it is Zack Snyder is on board, I'm okay with that.
