Samsung Officially Announced Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 With Super AMOLED Displays

Today in New York City Samsung announced two new Android tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The name suggests their sizes and both tablets feature Super AMOLED Display with resolution of 2560x1600, Samsung says this is the first line of tablets to sport Super AMOLED Technology. These slates are thinner and lighter than ever, the smaller one only weights 294g while the bigger one is only 465g, both as thin as 6.6mm.

These tablets will come in two variants, LTE and WiFi only but it the LTE one that will be available in the country mid-July. 3GB of RAM is found under the hood of each of the Tab S with either quad-core or octa-core processors with it (depending on region), and then powered by Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Samsung's own UI on top of it. Base version comes in 16GB built-in memory which can support microSD card up to 128GB.
