The Waterloo-based company Blackberry has announced its new smartphone called Blackberry Z3 and is expected to be officially launched in the PH this week and many tech blogs in the country such as says that it will be retailed for Php10,990, they were told by the company. Let's see what specs this Z3 will be offering and find out if that asking price is reasonable.

So what do you guys think? Is it worth buying for that price tag of Php10,990? Well based on the current trending when it comes to pricing and specs, I think it is kind of expensive for the price for a number of reasons. First it does not sport at least HD display or 1280x720 resolution, second is if I love do download cool and popular apps it is not the best option for me since it is powered by Blackberry's own OS, then for that price you can already buy smartphones with much higher specs in the local market, smartphones from MyPhone, Cherry Mobile, Starmobile and many other non-global brands. Again these reasons are just mine, you may have other reasons to buy this smartphone than mine. Blackberry is an international brand in the smartphone race and was already famous way before Android conquered the tech arena.

We'll get more details once the Blackberry Z3 is officially launched in the country.
