LG G Pad 10.1 Tablet Starts Global Roll Out This Month

LG G Pad 10.1 is the largest Android tablet in the G Pad Series that was announced in May will start rolling out globally this month. LG Says that "LG G Pad 10.1 will make its debut in the United States followed by other markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America later in the month. Prices and retail availability will be announced locally in each market."

The LG G Pad 10.1 will be available in two different colors, black and red. It will feature some of the functionalities found on G3 smartphone such as the Knock Code, Smart Keyboard, QPair 2.0, Gesture Shot for Selfies and Dual Window Mode.

QPair 2.0 allows the G Pad to be paired with Android smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth. Once connected G Pad can receive calls and messages notifications and users can reply or answer calls from the G Pad tablet. Knock Code is a security feature where users can set up a knock pattern to turn on and unlock the phone, this device can register up to four users with different knock code patterns. 

Dual Window Mode simply allows users to run two apps at the same time via split windows. Gesture Shot for Selfies, a user simply needs to form their free hand into a fist while in front of the camera and then the sensor will detect it and start a 3-second countdown to capture the photo.
