LG Slims Down Flagship Device With the "G3 Beat" Smartphone

LG just announced a mini version of its current flagship device and it's called G3 Beat. It sports a 5-inch HD IPS Display with 1280x720 pixel resolution, it's an IPS device which should provide better viewing experience. Powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core chip clocked at 1.2GHz and a 1GB of RAM paired with it. Right out of the box is a 8GB internal storage and like any other Android device, it's still expandable via microSD card. And as for its cameras, on the back is an 8MP camera which still features Laser Auto Focus technology which is a very good thing to have here, then on front sits a 1.2MP sensor.

The G3 Beat is clearly a slimmed down version of the specs-packed G3 smartphone both in physical and specs features but not to the point of disappointing one. LG even said this device "retains the best features and functions of the G3." Let us hope that the pricing will be much more lower than we should expect. Pricing is yet to be announced by LG. On July 18, LG G3 Beat will be released in Korea and then weeks after that global rollout will follow.
